Anaconda acquired Kilo Code, the open-source coding agent used across VS Code, JetBrains, web, and CLI by more than 3 million developers, on July 15. Kilo remains free for individual builders; the acquisition, following Anaconda’s earlier purchase of Outerbounds, folds it into Anaconda’s enterprise AI-development platform.
