The World Foundation raised $52.5 million in a token sale led by Pantera Capital, with Bain Capital Crypto, Eightco Holdings, Selini Capital, and Susquehanna Crypto also participating, to expand World ID, its iris-scan “proof of human” network. The foundation says 39 million people have joined and 18 million have completed in-person verification via its Orb scanner, with integrations underway at Zoom, Docusign, Okta, Vercel, and Tinder.
