Anthropic launched a connector, available now across Claude models on claude.ai, that gives Claude direct access to the Anthropic Economic Index, its dataset on how AI usage breaks down by occupation, region, and task. Users can ask which jobs use AI most or how automation patterns vary by industry, with Claude flagging the data’s limits and linking to source material. Setup takes about a minute through the connectors menu.
